8th Grade Learning Objectives: Students will “analyze how women contributed in the war effort through a warmup,” they will “discuss the roles women and African Americans had in the war, how the war progressed until it ended at Yorktown, and what American colonists gained from winning the war through Accountable Talk and Cornell Notes with FNT," they will "evaluate sides taken leading up to the war through an Editorial," they will "analyze an image of the clash atop Breed's Hill during the Battle of Bunker Hill through a photo analysis," and they will "examine the role of Sybil Ludington in the Revolutionary War through reading, Accountable Talk, and a Diary Entry (if time)."
