Students will review and discuss "Reconstruction Reversed" and "Plessy v. Ferguson;" they will discuss "African American migration" and "6th-8th grade review material."
Homework: No HW (however, it may be a good idea to start reviewing for the CST test!) Students will review and discuss "the 13th/14th/15th Amendments" and "African American roles in Government;" they will discuss "White Terrorism" and "the Compromise of 1877;" they will work on Composition Review Books and 6th-8th Review.
Homework for Thursday night: "Read Chapter 23 pages 332-334" and "Composition Review Book" due on Friday. Students will review and discuss "the Fourteenth Amendment" and "the Military Reconstruction Act;" they will discuss "the Fifteenth Amendment and African Americans in office" through powerpoint/reading; they will review "the Freedmen's Bureau" and "views on Reconstruction."

Homework for Tuesday night: ISN page 61 Students will review and discuss "the new realities of war" and "the Massachusetts 54th Regiment;" they will discuss "the Freedmen's Bureau" and "the Black Codes" through powerpoint and they will discuss the assasination of Abraham Lincoln through a video clip.
Homework for this Monday: Read pages 323-326. Students will review and discuss "the multiple causes, key events, and complex consequeces of the Civil War" through review and a video.
No HW: Enjoy Spring Break. Students will review and discuss "total war" and "the End at Appomattox;" they will review "the multiple causes, key events, and complex consequences through the Chapter 22 Test.
Homework for Thursday Night: Chapter 23 Reading Students will review and discuss "iron-clad ships" and "the Battle of Vicksburg;" they will review "the strenghts and weaknesses of the North vs. the South through a Comparative Input Chart;" they will discuss "Total War" and "the end of the war at Appomattox."
Homework on Wednesday night: Finish reading Chapter 22, complete Students will review and discuss "habeas corpus" and "Abraham Lincoln vs. Jefferson Davis;" they will discuss "Vicksburg" and "Fort Wagner" through a video and Chapter 22 notes.
