8th Grade Learning Objectives:  Students will “describe the nation’s economic, political, and social problems after the Civil War,” they will “identify the steps that were taken initially during Reconstruction,” they will “explain how the assassination of Lincoln and the inauguration of a new President led to conflict,” they will “summarize the goals of the Freedmen’s Bureau," and they will “engage in the Men Who Built America video with questions.”
