Homework: Read Ch 21 and do ISN page 149, story blasters due Friday. Students will review and discuss "the Tallmadge Amendment" and "the unspoken agreement between the North and South;" they will practice vocabulary fluency through "the Grammar and the Dell."
Homework Tonight: Read Chapter 21, Interactive Student Notebook page 147. Students will review and discuss "the Northwest Ordinance of 1787" and "the Second Great Awakening;" they will discuss conditions of slaves.
Homework Monday Night: Read Chapter 21, ISN page 146 Students will discuss the geography, economy, transportation, and society of the North and South through the creation of foldables. The students will also complete an S-S-Lightbulb assignment for Chapter 20. If done with both of these early, students will complete a History 5-4-3-2-1 activity for any section from Chapter 20.
