8th Grade Learning Objectives: Students will “analyze colonial anger at the Tea Act of 1773 through a warmup,” they will “discuss the Boston Tea Party and later British actions that heightened tensions among the colonists, actions taken at the First and Second Continental Congresses, and advantages and disadvantages of each side as the Revolutionary War began through Accountable Talk and Storyboarding A Textbook Reading,” they will "evaluate the events of the Boston Massacre through a Performance Task," they will "analyze the Boston Massacre through a Round Robin,” and they will "analyze the Boston Tea Party and The Intolerable Acts through a Thinking Map (if time).”
