7th Grade Learning Objectives--Students will “determine how Augustus came to power through a warmup,” they will “analyze a handout on Focused Note Taking,” they will “review Collaborative Talk Sentence Starters and Frames," they will “discuss the Pax Romana, the power of the Roman Empire, and Rome’s achievements through Accountable Talk,” and they will “examine the beginning of the Roman Empire through Cornell Note-Taking."
8th Grade Learning Objectives--Students will “determine which colonial region they’d be most attracted to living in through a warmup,” they will “analyze a handout on Focused Note Taking,” they will “review Collaborative Talk Sentence Starters and Frames,” they will “discuss the founding and economies of the original 13 colonies through Accountable Talk,” and they will “examine the 13 Original Colonies through Cornell Note-Taking."
