Homework: Read pages 30-32, Complete Interactive Student Notebook page 11, work on Study Guide for Chapter 2 (optional) Ch. 2 Test Next Monday, read through requirements of the Early Civilizations Project (due 09/23). Students will discuss "the Lost Colony of Roanoke" and "the Jamestown Colony;" they will discuss and reflect upon "the events of September 11th, 2001."
No Homework over the weekend. Students will discuss "Juan Ponce de Leon" and "the Coronado Expedition;" they will "learn sentence syntax through a Sentence Patterning Chart," and they will "learn new vocabulary through a Word Masters Chart (if time)."
