7th Grade Learning Objectives: Students will "discuss the changes in style and subject that made Renaissance art differ from medieval art," they will "identify how Renaissance art and architecture shaped western standards of beauty," they will "explain which major writers emerged during the Renaissance," and they will "analyze how major Renaissance writers demonstrated the new trend toward secularism."
8th Grade Learning Objectives: Students will "discuss how political and religious trends sparked reform movements," they will "analyze how family life changed during the first half of the 1800s," they will "summarize how the women's rights movement began," and they will "identify what effect the women's rights movement had on opportunities for women."
